Mr. Cherif’s mandate at the helm of the AIO came to an end during the 50th Conference in Namibia. The Secretary General, Jean Baptiste Ntukamazina and In-coming President Patty Karuaihe-Martin handed over a beautiful Namibian-made-Africa-shaped glass plaque to the out-going President during the 50th AIO Conference in Windhoek.
Mr. Benhabiles Cherif, who is the Managing Director of Caisse Nationale de Mutualité Agricole, Algeria, became the President of the AIO in 2023 when his country hosted one of the most successful conferences of the organisation.
